Vinayaka Chaturti is celebrated very grand at Rishikesh with Songs and bands everywhere. The whole town get involved in this celebration. They will chant " GANAPHAI PAPA BOLIA"

Back At Rishikesh 2007 after Badrinath & Kedarnath

We are back at Rishikesh and having a simple meal but is very good. There is a policy in the Ashram Diuning Hall to take what you can eat and do not waste food. There Puri is very good and so is the Capati. They seldom serve rice but on special occasion we can get Rishikesh banana leave with variety side dish.

We are now on the way back to Rishikesh after a tiring journey at Kedarnath and Badrinath, We will be back
